Small Voice
Flo is passionate about supporting other creatives and creativity in general within our daily lives. She decided to create an Instagram account “Small voice co”, in order to create a supportive and inclusive space for the creative and the curious. A place to explore, share ideas, and ask questions without fear.
Linked to the Instagram Account are also details of how to join the Telegram chat and reference sharing groups. An additional space to share work an ideas without having to comment publicly on posts.
Flo plans on instigating regular projects to encourage all kinds of creativity, where everyone is welcome. Flo is hopeful that in the future with support from one another that exhibitions will be held, and hopes to even branch out into other areas such as a podcast (but one step at a time!)
It is very much going to be a community lead group, with each other facilitating projects, ideas and encouragement.

(The community logo has been designed by the amazing artist Mika Denny… tap HERE to view Mika’s incredible work. The logo design was opened up to the Small Voice community to submit ideas, in the end Flo chose this one as it expresses the creativity of the group but still allows the group space to evolve)
Portrait Project 1 update…
I appreciate it has taken me some time to finally conclude our first amazing community project. The initial idea was to create a “Zine” from all of the artworks, but at present the logistics of organising this have illuded me. Thankfully last year the amazing Laura Selevos @Selevosart created this collaborative piece for us all.
This image is free to use as you wish if you took part in the first project, however, it is not available for sale and is not to be sold.
I have printed myself a copy for my studio but I am sure you can think of another creative way to use this. The image is available as a PDF document, which is too large to email. I have created a Dropbox folder for the community and I am able to give you access to it from there.

Project One 2022
During the summer of 2022 our first project commenced. Within a set time frame, we all worked from the same reference photo to create our own interpretation of the portrait.
As always, all submissions are welcomed, and we had everyone from children to professional artists, the creatively curious to people who just needed encouragement all join in.
Over 100 people participated in the first project.
