Original painting- charcoal and acrylic paint on stretched linen, framed.

The artwork measures approximately 40cm x 50cm. The overall size including the white frame is approximately 43.5cm x 53.5cm and 3cm deep.

This artwork has a hidden element to it and is the first of it’s kind in a series I will develop. The price is slightly lower due to the fact the mechanics of it are a work in progress.

The artwork works excellently as a piece of work regardless of the hidden element. Behind the artwork sits a cardboard stencil depicting a cloud and raindrops. Fixed with velcro to the back of the painting are 2 rechargeable lights. The artwork will need to be hung on a wall for maximum effect, and also will be more dramatic in lower daylight. The back of the artwork will need to be accessible, (a string will be provided) as the lights are switched on by holding down a button on each light, and subsequently switched off in the same way. You will be provided with 2 cables to charge the lights using a USB connection. The lights are easily removable because of the velcro.

The artwork and lighting effect are as I would like them to be and I think offers a really unique addition to the piece. Please just be aware that this is the first time I have created something like this for sale, so future additions will possibly have a different method for the lighting.
